- Course on Multimedia Information Search and Visualization (EIA-Fribourg). The goal of the course is to provide an overview of principal techniques for indexing, searching and visualizing multimedia information.
- Master course on Multimodal Interface at EIA-FR and UNIFR (website). The course aims at providing an overview of main topics related to the development of Multimodal Interfaces. Traditional interfaces of computers are keyboard and mouse. A more natural, human like interface is based on voice, touch, gaze and face-input. The course is about human-computer interaction, tangible interfaces, multimodality, information visualization and user-centered design. To design a multimodal interface all these aspect have to be taken into account and different modalities have to be combined. To apply the theory parallel to the course there is a lab assignment.
